Júlia Godino Llorens was born in Calella (Barcelona). She studied the Contemporary Dance Professional Degree at the Conservatory Institut del Teatre from Barcelona and afterwards she graduated from Artesis Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. She worked taking part in creations or repertorie from different choreographers like Anton Lachky, Eulalia Ayguadé, Marcos Morau & La Veronal, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Georg Reischl and Jos Baker. And took class with David Zambrano, Iñaki Azpillaga, Última Vez, Peeping Tom, Peter Jasko, Tony Vezich, Renan Martins and more.

She was part of the project “VENN” from Sidilarbi Cherkeaoui, Damien Jalet and Iris Bouche. And she also toured with a piece of the french choreographer Maud Le Pladec: “Borderline”, through Holland and Belgium and they also performed at the “Festival of Avignon” and the festival “Temporada Alta” in Girona, Spain.

 

 

Anse Kuyl is a classical trained oboist who played her first notes at age 8. She studied classical music at De! Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp and then continued at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in the class of Luk Nielandt. She followed masterclasses with Thomas Indermühle, Diethelm Jonas, Karel Schoofs and Eric Speller. She is a steady member of the Ricciotti ensemble. A dutch orchestra that brings all kind of music everywhere and for everyone. She has played several times with La Monnaie in Brussels.

 

 

This piece was a constant conversation between Júlia and Anse.
