Hayder Almaleki & Sebastian Mangs

 

Painter Hayder Almaleki and musician Sebastian Mangs, brought together by a twist of fate and having just founded Dionysos culture association in their hometown of Enköping, Sweden, combine their artistic sensibilities to create a space where deeply rooted emotion may flow free. 

 

Musically accompanying the exhibition of Hayder’s poetic paintings, by means of introspection and improvisation mediated by the piano and the guitar the two artists venture into sonic landscapes beyond the realm of words, finding each other and the world bathing in a new, yet strangely familiar light.

 

We come bearing poetry to be heard with the ears and poetry to be seen with the eyes, from the ruins of love, at risk of extinction, hoping to help guard your hearts from going blind.”
